Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Red Seal Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (domestic and import)
  • Using scan tools and service information to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Completing work in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Performing inspections (including out-of-province/safety inspections, if applicable)
  • Communicating clearly with the service advisor/management about required repairs, timelines, and parts needs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Following all safety procedures and best practices
  • Providing a positive, professional experience for customers and coworkers

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman/Red Seal ticket
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
  • Comfortable using digital work orders and scan tools
