AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Work with Principal Investigator to develop relevant coding system for analysis of data

• Assist with analysis of interview data

• Assist with analysis of archival data

• Conduct literature reviews and analyses, and prepare reports

• Attend local and national team meetings (virtual)

• Communicate with team leads and RAs at other national sites

• Assist the Principal Investigator and national research team to prepare interim presentations and reports on emerging findings across sites

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of conference papers, and preparation of papers for publication, with co-authorship opportunities
Qualifications Required (skills and abilities, education, language skills):

• Strong knowledge of theoretical and methodological frameworks of Black radical tradition/thought and/or decolonial thought and/or Critical Theory/Critical Race Theory

• Awareness of community-based and participatory research methodologies. Experience in such projects or working with Black communities an asset

• Experience using NVivo qualitative analysis software an asset.

• Excellent written, communication, and collaboration/teamwork skills
Education/experience requirements

• Masters Degree
