Blue Thunder Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Metal Siding Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing exterior metal siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace metal siding, cladding and related exterior components
- Measure, cut, and fit metal panels using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specification sheets
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and fastening of siding materials
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and compliance with project standards
- Follow all workplace safety rules, including working at heights
- Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on time
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing metal siding or exterior cladding materials
- Strong understanding of construction practices and building envelope systems
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools (shears, brakes, drills, saws, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Comfortable working at heights and performing physical labor
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license is an asset
