Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic receptionist with a loud voice and outstanding customer service skills. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and assisting in the smooth operation of the salon floor.

Duties

  • Greet clients warmly as they arrive, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they walk in
  • Manage appointment bookings efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems and scheduling software
  • Answer all incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information or directing inquiries appropriately
  • Assist clients with products, explaining services, and upselling retail products to enhance their experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering processes, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations
  • Maintain a clean, organized salon by stocking supplies and merchandising products attractively
  • Support the team by keeping stylists on track with time, helping them clean in between clients
  • Coordinate with stylists and other team members to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow
  • Promote retail sales by engaging customers with friendly communication and personalized recommendations
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating client records in the system

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is essential
  • STRONG communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are highly valued
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail operations confidently
