Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician/Late term apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform diagnostics, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Work with low voltage systems as needed, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to electrical installations.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not required.
