The Department of Economics invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach ECON-2030 / AMS-2030: Intermediate Microeconomics I in the Winter 2026 term.
This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Schedule: Mondays / Wednesdays 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
Delivery: In Person

Course Description:
The theories of consumer and producer behaviour developed in Economics 101 are elaborated upon through the application of classical utility and indifference curve and production isoquant approaches. Choice under uncertainty and competitive market outcomes are also examined.
Cross-listed with AMS-2030 three hours a week.
Responsibilities:
The instructor will be responsible for course delivery, preparation of teaching materials, student evaluation, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Applicants should hold at least an MA (PhD preferred) in Economics or a closely related discipline and demonstrate evidence of successful teaching experience in relevant subject areas. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the Economics Sessional Roster and to full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
