Carpenters Helper

The Grand Falls regional Municipality is looking for an experienced carpenter's helper to join the Maintenance department.
What we are looking for :
- Experience in maintenance, construction and various renovation and building skills
- Good knowledge of tools and equipment used in carpentry
- Ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good physical condition to perform manual tasks and carry heavy loads.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision.
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
What are the required tasks :
- Load and unload materials and equipment on the worksite.
- Assist in preparing materials and tools required for construction projects.
- Help install foundations, walls, beams, roof frames, and other structures according to plans and the carpenters' instructions.
- Assist in cutting, trimming, shaping, and assembling wood and other construction materials.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, adjust, and assemble materials.
- Assist with various tasks as needed by carpenters and the construction team.
- Hold a valid license and be able to operate construction equipment such as: scissor lift, boom truck, forklift, backhoe, etc.
