We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join the healing waves team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating a range of mental health challenges. This position is exclusively for licensed Nurse Practitioners based in British Columbia. As part of our team, you will focus on providing patient care, including diagnosing, treatment planning, and medication management, for individuals with diverse mental health needs such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mood or behavioural disorders.
This is an in person position
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to diagnose conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide medication management and ensure safe and effective prescribing practices.
- Monitor patient progress, assess treatment outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Offer empathetic support and guidance to patients managing complex mental health challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatments and medication management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and team members.
Compensation
- $80 - $120CAD/hour for independent contractors
- The compensation listed above refers to an hourly rate that may vary depending on a candidate's relevant qualifications, knowledge, competencies and work experience.
