Welcome We are thrilled that you are considering joining our team We are a small, family-owned neighborhood pet shop located at Como Lake Village Mall in Coquitlam. We are looking for a friendly, social and animal-loving individual who aligns with our values, is eager to learn, and is motivated to better the lives of the pets living in our community.

In this role you will:

Utilize your upbeat, charming personality and diverse knowledge of pet nutrition and care to provide a superior customer experience every day.

A Successful Applicant Must:

  • Be friendly and have a genuine love of animals and people in order to provide every single customer (furry or otherwise) with an amazing experience.
  • Have exceptional customer service and people skills.
  • Be self-motivated with an eagerness to learn in order to help your fellow pet parents.
  • Be willing to work on weekends.
  • Be willing to work opening and closing shifts.
  • Be willing to work for periods of the day by yourself.
  • Be able to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs frequently.

Considered A Great Asset

  • Being a pet parent.
  • Previous experience working with pets (ex. pet retail, grooming, boarding, dog walking).

Your Duties Would Be:

  • Cashier and customer service (helping customers and spoiling their pets).
  • Use your knowledge of pet nutrition to advise pet parents on their nutritional choices.
  • Sweeping floors, dusting, stocking, and opening/closing the shop.
  • Unloading truck deliveries (up to 50lbs).
  • Facing cans and ensuring that the store looks clean and tidy.
  • Picking web orders and preparing them for delivery.
