We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Occupational Therapist (OT)
to join healthcare teams across
British Columbia
on travel contract assignments. This is a unique opportunity to support patients across a variety of clinical settings—including acute care, rehabilitation, mental health, community health, and long-term care—depending on facility needs. With

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
individualized treatment plans
to help clients improve or maintain daily functioning. - Provide therapy for individuals with physical, mental, emotional, or developmental conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers.
- Recommend and assist with the use of
assistive devices
, home/workplace modifications, and adaptive strategies. - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and progress.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with facility and provincial standards.
- Promote client independence and support
rehabilitation and recovery goals
through evidence-based practices. - Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Current registration
with the
College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
as an Occupational Therapist
Valid
Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification
Strong understanding of functional assessments, rehab planning, and client-centred care
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
Adaptability to different clinical environments and patient populations
Passion for empowering clients to reach their functional goals and enhance quality of life
