Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Crew Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry, providing valuable experience in customer service, food preparation, and restaurant operations. Ideal candidates will be friendly, efficient, and eager to contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Availability

  • After school and weekends (student positions)

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, for order processing and payment handling
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Support team members during peak hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks including food prep, serving, and cashiering
  • Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times

Skills

  • Previous experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with upselling or sales techniques to enhance customer experience and increase revenue
  • Prior restaurant or café experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
