Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including shuttle buses, delivery trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and maintenance standards. The AZ Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and passenger transport while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles such as shuttle buses, delivery trucks, and school buses
  • Transport passengers or goods efficiently and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users

Qualifications

  • Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or paratransit services is preferred
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early
  • Experience with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service excellence
  • Ability to handle long hours on the road and work flexible schedules as needed
