Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it's the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities.

Position Details:

Position:  Airport Pass Control Administrator
Site: Halifax Airport (HIAA)
Overtime: Overtime after 48 hours
Hours: Monday-Friday Between the hours of 6:00 am - 11:00 pm (8 hours shift)
Payrate: $25.80
Posting Date: November 25, 2025
Internal Closing Date: December 25, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

A Pass Control Office Administrator is responsible for the security and administrative duties of the Airport Pass Control Office. Duties include RAIC application reviews, pass control, fingerprinting, and providing customer service to the public and airport community. The Pass Control Office also provides administrative assistance to the Security Office Assistant with baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass sign out.

We are seeking experienced security professionals looking to build a full-time career in Aviation Security.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.Administrative training or equivalent experienceComputer ProficiencyAbility to multi-taskGood attention to detailAbility to work under pressureAbility to pass a security clearance and hold a RAIC Ability to pass a security clearance through the NS Department Of JusticeAdditional online courses as requiredMust be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma.Must have reliable transportation to the airport.Must have a valid Driver's LicenseMust have valid First Aid & CPR/AED certificate (Online First Aid/CPR certificate not accepted)

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED

Certificate, Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing
