Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling based on client preferences and consultations
• Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and understanding client needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in accordance with health regulations
• Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their experience and meet sales goals
• Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and managing client records
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent communication skills for effective consultation and team collaboration
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism
• Basic retail sales skills and familiarity with front desk operations are preferred
• A valid license or certification as required by state regulations
• A friendly attitude, creativity, and a passion for hairstyling are essential for success in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
