Green Acres Foundation is seeking a team-oriented multi-tasker who is flexible, enthusiastic, has great leadership skills, and a positive attitude to help as a Licensed Practical Nurse at one of our facilities.

We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.

Basic responsibilities of the position include:

Overseeing and providing direction to HCAs following a Care PlanProviding direct care and support to residentsMonitor, assess, and report changes in resident's healthRespond to emergency calls as requiredDistribute medications to residentsAssisting residents with daily activities, including therapeutic regimesComplete all necessary charting, paperwork, and reporting in a clear, concise, and timely manner using electronic charting

Requirements for the position:

Licensed Practical Nursing DiplomaAnnual proof of active registration with CLPNACurrent satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken EnglishA flexible, willing, and positive attitude

First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
