Job Description:
The Transformation, Enablement, and Customer Experience (TECE) Governance & Control (G&C) Team is hiring a Senior Governance & Control Analyst to provide governance and control guidance and support and implement policies / processes and/or initiatives to meet governance and control objectives. The Senior Governance & Control Analyst will also provide/complete reporting, analysis, and assessments.
Specific responsibilities of this Senior Governance & Control Analyst position include but are not limited to:
Provide governance and control related advice / support to management / leadership and respective teams
Support on the implementation of governance and control initiatives in support of the overall business strategy
Manage a set of governance and control work activities requiring coordination across multiple areas
Review processes and controls and "connect the dots" across issues and control deficiencies in order to increase standardization of solutions, processes and controls
Support / manage the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes across multiple functional areas
Support the development / delivery of materials and presentations to management or broader audience
Department Overview:
TECE G&C is a first line of defense (1B) function and is accountable for:
Risk Culture – Fostering an effective, transparent culture of risk awareness; evaluating business strategy and activities against risk appetite; and providing management and stakeholders with sufficient and timely insight to enable effective oversight.
Risk & Control Activities – Ensuring that TECE businesses adequately identify, assess, and develop risk mitigation strategies to manage current and emerging risk exposures across all risk categories; supporting the design, implementation, and sustainment of controls within key processes and procedures; and ensuring effective control testing and monitoring, documentation of results, and tracking execution of action plans to resolution.
Governance, Issues Management & Reporting – Advising on and facilitating discussions with management and stakeholders on relevant internal and external considerations; collaborating with the business to maintain processes to expediently resolve incidents; identifying and tracking issues to remediation; and developing processes to create timely reporting to inform on areas of increasing risk and enable proactive, data-driven, risk-based decision making.

Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree preferred
5+ years of experience
Industry and business knowledge in Operational Risk and Regulatory Compliance (including FCRM), and general understanding of other major risk categories
Knowledge of project methodology at TD
Self-starter and quick learner with sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent team player with demonstrated collaboration, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
