Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Prepare and review year-end files
  • Prepare and review corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Perform compilation engagements
  • Participate in assurance engagements, including review and audit engagements
  • Maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development as needed

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Minimum three years' experience in public practice accounting
  • CPA designation completed or in progress is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks, Cantax, and Caseware
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
