Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Burnaby

Morning Hours (7am–12/1pm) | $30–35/hr | mileage reimbursement | In-home patient care & diagnostics

Position Type: Part-time – mornings, 7am to 12/1pm daily

Location: Burnaby, BC (travel required; mileage reimbursed)

Edmonds Pharmacy is a long-standing independent community pharmacy serving Burnaby and the Lower Mainland. We are committed to supporting patients with complex care needs through personalized, high-quality outreach services.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outreach team. This role involves daily home visits to deliver and administer medications, perform diagnostic checks, and support patients with complex care needs. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and administer daily medications to complex care patients.
  • Perform diagnostic checks such as blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.
  • Administer insulin and other prescribed therapies.
  • Document all visits and interventions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Travel to patient homes using either a provided company vehicle or your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications;

  • Current BC license as an LPN in good standing.
  • Experience with complex care patients and medication administration (including insulin).
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license visits; mileage reimbursed
  • Valida driver's license and clean driving record.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $30–35 per hour, based on experience.

Consistent daily schedule: 7am to 12/1pm.Com
