Overview

A well-established dental office in Richmond, BC is looking for a receptionist/dental assistant to join our team

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-5pm

Duties

  • Schedule patient appointments using dental practice management software
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating patient information and collecting payments
  • Answer the phone with excellent phone etiquette and taking detailed messages when necessary
  • Assist dentists in clinical procedures
  • Disinfect treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up treatment rooms for the dentist

Skills and Experiences

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills to manage appointment scheduling, filing, and office flow seamlessly
