Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Associates to join our NEWLY OPENED STORE called YARD Liquor. You will get the chance to be part of the PIONEER team to open the NEWEST Liquor Store in Prince Albert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and assisting with sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to upsell products effectively.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
  • Receive deliveries whenever necessary.

  • Maintain a clean and organized STORE to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Process transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
  • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Proficient organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods.
  • Familiarity with technology sales is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
