Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the installation, assembly, operation, maintenance, and repair of transport refrigeration cooling and heating systems. This role requires a solid understanding of industry systems, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components.
  • Diagnose issues with refrigeration units and perform necessary repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient operation of systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in refrigeration or HVAC technician roles is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in plumbing is beneficial for system installations and repairs.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
  • Proficient in welding techniques related to refrigeration systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

We also support several other industry-leading product offerings, including Webasto, Pro-Heat, Red Dot and MEI, providing engine-off and hydraulic heaters, and in-cab air conditioning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
