The GeoFocus Group is strengthening its internal delivery and financial controls across the entire organization.

We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to work company-wide, supporting multiple active developments and construction projects across low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise portfolios.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands construction and development accounting in the real world, not just in theory.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of project accounting experience in construction and/or real estate development
  • Deep understanding of job cost accounting, cost-to-complete, commitments, change management, and cash flow forecasting
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects with varying structures and delivery models
  • Strong working knowledge of progress billing, holdbacks, lien legislation, and contract administration support
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable holding teams accountable to process
  • Trusted by project managers, executives, and external partners alike

What You'll Do

  • Provide company-wide project accounting support across all active projects
  • Maintain accurate job cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Track commitments, change orders, and budget impacts in real time
  • Support monthly reporting, lender reporting, and internal executive reviews
  • Work closely with project management, estimating, and senior leadership
  • Help refine financial controls, reporting standards, and internal workflows
  • Act as a central financial steward, not just a back-office function
