Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service and support to the energy industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Shop Assistant for our Grande Prairie, AB Branch.

The Shop Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning, washing, and organizing equipment
  • Working in the shop, yard, and supporting in various departments as needed
  • Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of all equipment
  • Operating a loader

The desirable candidate will possess:

  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work both the shop and field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability and desire to perform physical labour
  • Oilfield or rig experience is considered an asset
  • A clean class 5 license and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
