Up and Down Lifting Solutions is looking for heavy equipment technicians to join our growing team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Services and oversees major electrical, hydraulic and/or diesel engine repairs of all types of construction equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop:
  • Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment;
  • Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
  • Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed
  • Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings.
  • Maintain safe work environment and perform duties in accordance with safety standards.

Education & Experience:

  • May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness.
  • Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
