Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Guelph, ON, for a Fire Alarm/Security Technician. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, inspecting and troubleshooting fire alarm and security systems. The role also involves ensuring proper system functionality, adhering to safety standards, and providing excellent customer service during installations and system maintenance. Collaboration with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion is also a key part of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining technical systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and network security best practices
  • CAN/ULC S524, S536 and S537 knowledge
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, on-site environment
  • CFAA certification in fire alarm
