Duties

  • Prepare a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to produce menu items promptly
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients to streamline kitchen workflow
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures
  • Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Support meal assembly and plating to deliver visually appealing dishes that meet customer expectations
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate food preparation during busy service times
  • Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
  • Uphold excellent customer service by serving hot, fresh food promptly and courteously when required

Experience

Candidates should possess previous experience in a food industry setting, ideally with a background in dietary or dietary aide roles. Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly valued. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques—particularly frying—and food handling are essential. Familiarity with menu planning, catering operations, and serving procedures will set you apart. Strong knife skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and experience working in kitchens or culinary environments are highly desirable. Candidates with dietary department experience or dietary aide experience will find this role aligns well with their background. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
