Hours:

Morning Shift: 7:00AM - 4:00PM

Evening Shift: 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of the plant. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately, ensuring that all items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse environment by managing inventory and utilizing a warehouse management system.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and products as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills related to warehouse operations and safety practices.

Skills

  • Safely transport large steel frames, tables, and racks weighing up to 10,000 lbs using appropriate lifting methods.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain forklift logbooks as per Kear's safety program.
  • Assist with inventory control, labeling, and storage of parts within the plant and outdoor yard.
  • Maintain organized and clear aisles in work areas, ensuring compliance with 5S and safety protocols.
  • Support the Production Manager and Lead Hands with general plant logistics and workflow efficiency.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
