We have a new position available within our dynamic and growing firm for an Intake Clerk in our Litigation Department in our Barrie location.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the legal field, including experience with respect to the responsibilities outlined below;

  • Receive and review new client inquiries and related tasks
  • Open new litigation files in the firm's case management system
  • Schedule client appointments
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and staff by maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper files, scanning correspondence, and managing incoming communications.
  • Ensure all client deadlines, appointments, and follow-ups are accurately diarized and completed on time.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail and have a clear understanding of the value in providing excellent client service. Working in a team environment with experienced Law Clerks, Assistants and Lawyers, you will be responsible for handling legal work related to litigation matters. A great attitude and emphasis on client experience is a must. Program specific IT training will be provided through our in-house IT staff, as required, on an ongoing basis.
