We are a patient-focused optometry practice looking for a motivated, caring, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant & Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and retail sales in a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Perform pre-testing and assist the optometrist during exams
• Support contact lens fittings and patient education
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs
• Process sales, payments, insurance, and appointments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
• Handle administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in optometry, optical, or healthcare (preferred but not required)
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
• Willingness to learn and grow within the practice
