Job Summary:

Bank of China (Canada) is seeking a seasoned
Relationship Manager
to lead business development and client relationship management efforts across
the Maritimes
. This role is ideal for a high-performing banker with deep connections in the region's commercial and corporate banking sectors, strong credit skills, and a strategic mindset to drive sustainable growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Originate and manage
    National Accounts
    , corporate, and commercial client relationships
  • Drive the development and delivery of
    credit and non-credit banking solutions
  • Conduct detailed
    credit due diligence
    , manage disbursement, and oversee post-lending reviews
  • Maintain strong relationships with key
    corporate clients, industry players
    , and
    partner banks
  • Act as a local champion for the Bank's brand, strategic goals, and
    risk management practices
  • Leverage market knowledge to identify
    growth opportunities
    and
    portfolio expansion
  • Support
    loan syndications
    ,
    project financing
    , and cross-border transaction structuring
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and internal
    credit risk and operational policies

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 5+ years of commercial or corporate banking
    experience with large enterprises (revenue ≥ C$500MM)
  • Deep familiarity with the
    Maritimes market
    , key industries, and regional clients
  • Expertise in
    project finance
    , loan syndication, and credit underwriting
  • Proven ability to build and manage senior-level relationships
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and
    independent judgment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms
  • This is a
    remote role
    with regular business travel and in-person reporting once per month
