Job Summary

The Medical Supply Technician is an integral part of the Home Health Care team, ensuring that the department's high standards of operations are maintained on a daily basis.

Responsible for the packaging and organization of all medical supply orders to meet our contractual obligations, and monitoring the inventory levels

Job Type

· Part-time weekends, afternoons/evenings, with potential day shifts

POSSIBLE SHIFTS: (Saturday & Sunday) 9-6pm

(Monday-Friday) 8:30-5pm, 11:30-8pm, 4-9:00pm

Responsibilities

· Prioritize packing all orders according to date, time, and route.

· Ensure all orders are packaged accurately and verified.

· Ensure all packaged orders for clients are correctly recorded protecting client's privacy

· Respond to customer inquiries and complaints

· Data entry of orders and other information

· Maintain the movement of merchandise from the storage area to the packing area

· Maintain an organized packing and storage area

Knowledge and Skill

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Well-developed interpersonal skills

· Collaborate with other department staff members to assure the client receives the possible service available

· Excellent problem solving skills

· Time management and organizational skills

· Proficient knowledge of computer programs including MS word and Excel, Outlook

Attributes

· Able to work independently and as a team member

· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks

· Ability to work in a fast pace environment

· A meticulous work ethic and able to attend to detail

Education and experience

· Retail experience is an asset
