What You Will Be Doing:
- Ability to operate industrial and or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment; including but not limited to auto scrubbers and sweeping machines, leaf blowers, pressure washers etc.
- Snow removal and salting the public walkways.
- Lifting and transporting heavy items or objects.
- Thoroughly disinfect all high touch point areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
- Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins on a regular basis.
- Wipe down and sanitize high-traffic public spaces, including the collection of used items and cleaning of all public furniture.
- Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills.
- Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces.
- Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed.
You have:
- Previous experience in operating heavy duty cleaning equipment is required.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items of objects up to 50lbs, consistently.
- Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required.
- The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s).
- Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is not required but considered an asset
