Business: Andres Truck & Trailer – Small Family-Run Trucking, Ranching, Bison Feedlot, and Equipment Rental Operation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic with the ability to perform SGI commercial vehicle inspections to join our family-run business in southeast Saskatchewan. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to not only maintain and repair our diverse fleet but also to partner with us in operating a Heavy Truck & Trailer Repair Business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work alongside two shop laborers to ensure efficient shop operations.
• Partner with us to develop and operate a heavy truck and trailer repair business, serving both our fleet and external clients.
• Maintain a well-equipped shop with multiple bays, a service pit, two truck wash bays, parts room, office, and an extensive selection of tools and parts.
What We're Looking For:
• A certified heavy duty mechanic or 5+ years experience with semi trucks and trailers and commercial vehicle inspections.
• A reliable, team-oriented individual who aligns with our small, family-run business values.
• Someone willing to make small-town Saskatchewan their home and commit to a long-term partnership or employment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a repair business alongside our existing operations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage shop operations and work with our team of mechanics, helpers, truck drivers, ranch staff, and office personnel.
What We Offer:
• A modern, well-equipped shop with multiple bays, a service pit, truck wash bays, parts room, office, and extensive tools and parts inventory.
• A supportive team environment with mechanics helpers, truck drivers, ranch staff, an office manager, and a part-time bookkeeper.
• A unique opportunity to partner in a repair business with significant income potential through external client work.
• A chance to be part of a tight-knit, family-run operation in a small-town community.
