Innisfil ON LS M, Canada Georgian Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic Full time

The Georgian Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (GNPLC) is a multi-site primary care clinic in Barrie and Innisfil. Our team is comprised of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dietitians, and social workers and supported by an administrative team. Together we provide access to team based primary care to over 6000 residents in our communities.

Nurse Practitioner (RN-EC)

Contract until February 2027. Full-time or part-time. Minimum 3 days per week required

NPs function as the Most-Responsible Provider (MRP) for a defined roster of patients, up to 800 based on FTE status. The NP will collaborate internally with registered nurse, registered dietitian, social work and occupational therapist colleagues, and externally with specialist physicians and community services and agencies in the provision of primary health care for their patients. You will practice autonomously, providing periodic health examinations, pharmacological and counseling interventions, health promotion, and chronic disease management.

Ours is an environment where everyone works interdependently towards common goals. While we operate in a MRP model, support is always provided, both formally and informally, so you are never truly alone in providing care and where you are able to leverage the expertise of your colleagues. Digital tools such as AI Scribe, UpToDate and RxFiles are offered to help expedite care and reduce administrative burden.
