Your Impact:

Fortify WebInspect is the industry's most mature automated dynamic web application security testing solution, which is recognized as industry leader by Gartner MQ. Fortify DAST portfolio includes both on-premise (WebInspect) and containerized (Scan Central DAST) products that can be deployed in-house or as a service to build a scalable, nimble Software Security Assurance program that meets the evolving needs of today's IT organization.

What the role offers:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will:

  • Work on an industry-leading cybersecurity testing platform.
  • Solve complex tasks to meet business needs.
  • Learn about the latest security breaches across various tools, technologies, and programming languages.
  • Design and implement the next generation Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) scanner.
  • Engage in full-stack development including data, engine, and user interface layers.
  • Implement security analytics to gain comprehensive web security knowledge from top to bottom.
  • Possess 5-8 years of previous professional experience.

What you need to Succeed:

  • .NET framework/.NET core knowledge – including WPF for UI, multiplatform .Net work
  • Languages – C# (C++ a plus), JavaScript (good internals knowledge)
  • Operating systems : knowledge of Linux and windows will be required to complete many day-to-day tasks.
  • Docker and K8s – solid understanding on how to create and debug .NET docker containers.
  • Cloud-Based Technologies: AWS or GCP
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Shell for automating security tasks and configurations
  • Knowledge of network programming and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP) to analyze and defend against network-based attacks.
