Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and efficient driving skills to meet the demands of our logistics operations.

Duties

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients in a timely manner
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
  • Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transportation
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or appropriate licensing for commercial driving
  • Experience in warehouse operations, moving, or forklift operation is preferred
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
  • Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple deliveries throughout the day
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics operations is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $100.00-$200.00 per day
