Job Description

Key responsibilities of a pharmacy assistant include

  • Patient greeting and confirmation of prescription information prior to filling

  • Accurate dispensing of prescription medications

  • Handling customer prescription pick up

  • Assisting with cashier responsibilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation

  • Strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated customer service experience

  • Proficient computer and data entry skills.

  • Experience as a pharmacy assistant is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
