Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance on products, including technical sales support when necessary.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
  • Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering calls and assisting customers over the phone.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail liquor sales is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store appearance.
  • Familiarity with technical sales is advantageous for assisting customers with specific product inquiries.
  • A friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions.
