Our team is looking for an ECE Level 1 childcare professional to work WEEKDAYS/ WEEKENDS, EVENING SHIFT, and bring their amazing personality and flair to the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a brand ambassador. You are the face of the company
  • Build relationships with co-workers, families, and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
  • Be accountable and take pride in the company.
  • Design and deliver childcare programs that are in line with Summit's core values and principles
  • Continue to strive for excellence by participating in Professional Development training and being up to date on best practices in childcare.
  • Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children
  • Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Alberta Childcare Level 1 Certification. (We are only hiring ECE Level 1 candidates for this position)
  • At least one year of experience in a child care setting.
  • Must be comfortable working 25–30 hours per week, with shifts starting at 3:00 p.m. and extending as late as 12:15 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
  • Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it
  • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
  • Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in teams
  • Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
