Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing various painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. *Rate of pay will be based on experience. It's not a set rate for just anyone. Your experience will determine your rate of pay.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking areas as needed
• Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, on various surfaces including walls and ceilings.
• Assist with setup ladders for elevated work areas
• Show up prepared and on time daily
• At all times respect & maintain safety standards
• Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and organizing tools and materials
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure complete satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in construction painting is expected
• Knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Familiarity with spraying will be an asset
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members
