To enhance our Automation Systems' growth, we are now looking for an experienced Solution Manager, Quality Control Systems focusing on the Pulp and Paper Industry.
We are seeking a collaborative and technically driven Solution Manager to lead and grow our Quality Control Systems (QCS) portfolio in the North American Pulp and Paper Industry. This role combines technical expertise, product ownership, and cross-functional support to ensure our QCS solutions deliver maximum value to customers.
The Solution Manager will act as the technical authority, supporting sales, service, and project teams while driving product strategy and market growth.
Technical Expert
- Serve as the subject matter expert for QCS technologies, applications, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers, ensuring solutions meet performance and quality expectations.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in QCS.
Sales Team Support
- Partner with the sales team to develop proposals, cost models, and technical presentations.
- Support active sales opportunities by advancing cases from pipeline to closure.
- Identify and nurture new prospects, expanding the QCS sales funnel.
Product Management
- Own the QCS product portfolio, defining strategy, roadmap, and positioning in the market.
- Gather customer and market feedback to inform product development and R&D priorities.
- Ensure product competitiveness by aligning features and solutions with evolving industry needs.
Project & Service Team Support
- Collaborate with project execution teams to ensure successful delivery of QCS solutions.
- Provide technical support to service teams for troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, contributing to long-term retention and growth.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Paper Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical sales, or engineering within the pulp and paper industry.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Control Systems (QCS) and their applications
- Proven ability to collaborate across sales, service, and technical teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory, with occasional support provided to other areas as required.
- This position requires a valid driver's license
