Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and possess experience working with low voltage systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, safety, and technical expertise.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and repairs.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial or construction environments.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical tasks.
  • Work with low voltage systems and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Assist in the installation of control panels, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues before they result in failures or hazards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.

Skills

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics.
  • Prior experience as an industrial electrician or in construction environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience working with low voltage systems is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for industrial settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. This position requires a dedicated professional with solid electrical experience who values safety, precision, and continuous learning within the field of electrical systems installation and maintenance.
