Wedge Roofing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Roofer to fabricate and install custom sheet metal roofing and cladding systems and all associated sheet metal details with precision and care. Wage is $38/hr. Candidates must have some experience in construction and sheet metal experience of at least 2-3 years preferred. The work is in Pemberton, BC (B710, Pemberton, BC, V0N2L0). The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically fit, able to comfortably work at heights according to safety protocols. Proficient English speaking and reading required. The position is full-time and permanent.

Job Duties:

· Measure and mark sheet metal according to template

· Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet meta

· Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification

· Cut materials using power tools or by hand

· Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging

· Fit and join sheet metal parts

· Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes

· Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Job Requirements:

· Physically demanding

· Manual dexterity

· Attention to detail

· Hand-eye co-ordination

· Standing for extended periods

· Bending, crouching, kneeling

· Handling heavy loads

Own tools/equipment

· Steel-toed safety boots
