At Richardson Sport Inc. we strive to boost self-esteem and foster a passion for physical activity and sports in children, while ensuring both safety and inclusion for all ages. We are currently seeking a part-time Coach looking to bring excitement and enthusiasm to the position and be a part of a team dedicated to creating positive experiences for children and youth.

The Coach will be responsible for ensuring the success of sports programs through the delivery of company programs and activities. An ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following abilities and qualities:

  • Able to work independently to manage group sizes of up to 12 children.
  • Maintains a friendly and outgoing disposition within a child-friendly environment.
  • Able to adapt and work in a rapidly changing work environment.

This position will demand the completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following skills and accomplishments:

  • A demonstrated history of handling and maintaining sports equipment.
  • Must possess Class 5 Driver's License
  • Must submit to and pass a Criminal Record Check.
  • Must possess Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C qualifications.
  • Must be a legal resident of Canada and provide all documentation

As a part of this position, the Coach will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Synthesizing and conducting program activities.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and condition of sports equipment inventory.
  • Transporting sports equipment to and from program sites.
  • Adapting and conducting company programs and activities at program sites.
  • Ensuring safety and well-being of participants throughout company programs and activities.
  • Completing other tasks as required by the head coach.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00 per hour
