Club Assistant needed for High-End Fitness Club
Body + Soul Fitness operates 3 high-end health and fitness clubs in Toronto. Our team is made up of very talented, passionate, and dedicated professionals. Our results-focused custom approach to fitness helps our clients achieve their health and fitness goals quickly and safely. Our Club Assistants are responsible for greeting our members, handling member inquiries, supporting the rest of the team, and keeping our facilities clean, organized, stocked, and in good working order.
As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for discussing the goals of the prospective member, their previous experience, their injuries, and medical concerns. You will then be responsible for presenting and selling the most appropriate solution and determining which personal trainer on our team is the best fit for this client based on your consultation. Once you have registered this person, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with them to ensure that they are having a positive experience and are achieving their results.
You will be joining an established club, with a stable clientele, and as such you will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with all of our members. We believe that the highest priority in our organization is delivering a positive experience for our members and guests. You will be the point of contact for all member inquiries, and you will be expected to address any questions or concerns of our members. Though you may not be able to solve all problems directly, you will be required to communicate and collaborate with the appropriate member of our team to resolve the matter. As part of your role, you are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships in our community, and developing creative ways to generate quality leads.
We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop a career as a Personal Trainer, by first gaining experience in the sales and operations side of a successful and established business in the health and fitness space. Once mastery of the Club Assistant role has been demonstrated, you will start growing your own personal training clientele one client at a time until you are an established Personal Trainer yourself.

- Be full of energy, enthusiasm, and personality
- Pay attention to the details
- Build relationships because it comes naturally to you and you love it
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality
- Be able to think and act on your own, but must also be capable of collaborating with the rest of your team
- Be hardworking and always do your best to look after our members
- Have previous sales experience in the fitness industry
