Painter

DV Group Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

Job Description:

  • Prepares surfaces for paint with preparation tools such as sanders, compounders, and other tools.
  • Prepares walls and ceilings for paint with preparation tools such as paint sprayers, spray guns, and other tools needed for the job.
  • Sets up equipment for painting including paint sprayers, air guns, tape guns, etc.
  • Paints surfaces using various equipment including paint sprayers, air guns, tape guns, etc.
  • Moves furniture and equipment around the painting area to ensure that each surface is covered properly.
  • Cleans surfaces after painting to remove debris and debris from other surfaces.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
  • Ability to read and follow visual instructions in English.
  • Ability to follow directions in a non-routine manner and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time, bending, climbing stairs and working on ladders.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
