Are you driven by a deep sense of purpose? Wanting to create a profound and lasting impact in the lives of male youth overcoming addictions and behavioral issues? Want to be part of an awesome Christian ministry passionate about helping teenage males? Join our dedicated team at Rock Solid Refuge, where we operate a 12-month program nestled amidst the serene beauty of southwest Saskatchewan, where you can afford a house, or if you want, live with other staff on site in staff housing and do life together.
Our program stands as a transformative sanctuary, empowering adolescents with life-controlling issues through Christ, academic growth, and invaluable life-skills training, counselling, and hands on life experience through community living.
As a dedicated Youth Care Worker, your pivotal role will encompass engaging one-on-one with our students, providing them with heartfelt mentorship and unwavering support and leading alongside the youth care team 8-10 teens at a time doing programs together. You will get to organize and lead engaging activities such as work projects, gardening and animal care, sports, games, and other recreational pursuits, fostering camaraderie and growth among the students (minimal screen time).
At Rock Solid Refuge, we believe in the immeasurable worth of each individual, and our program is designed to provide comprehensive Christian based guidance to address the complex challenges facing our troubled teenagers who come from across Canada to be a part of Rock Solid. Staff training and onboarding provided, weekly staff meetings, and direct one on one coaching from your Youth lead and Manager of Training is included.
If you are looking for a ministry to help male youth, and are excited to do it in a farm setting in rural Saskatchewan we warmly invite you to apply, no matter where in Canada you are. Missionary couples overseas looking for a landing back in Canada that this speaks to are also encouraged to apply.
