Part time seasonal help wanted in a unique and fun antique, vintage and eclectic treasures shop in Stony Plain, AB during this holiday season

Looking for a great place to work part time, 1-2 scheduled shifts per week and fill in as needed this holiday season? Interested in antiques and vintage items, unique treasures? We might have a spot for you We are looking for someone with a good sense of humour, ability to laugh with co-workers and customers, who provides top of the line & friendly customer service.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience including opening, cash, customer service, merchandising
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Marketing experience on all social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Independent
  • Experience or willingness to learn furniture refinishing
  • Ability to lift and move items including some heavier furniture pieces
  • Ability to be on your feet for most of a shift
  • Flexible availability including full weekdays, weekends and evening events
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

Roles

  • Provide excellent and efficient customer service including greeting customers, assisting as necessary, sales
  • Independently opening and closing of store, including cash out
  • Creative social media posting in consultation with current social media managers
  • Cleaning and organizing in shop as necessary
  • Assisting with shop presentation including finishing furniture and redoing/creating displays
