Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compliance Officer located in Vancouver, BC. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, managing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance practices, evaluating risks, preparing reports for regulatory authorities, identifying areas for improvement, and providing guidance to the organization on meeting compliance standards. The role requires close collaboration with various teams to ensure adherence to financial and operational regulations.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance to ensure adherence to applicable guidelines and policies
  • Strong Analytical Skills to identify risks, conduct assessments, and analyze regulatory requirements
  • Excellent Communication skills for clearly conveying complex regulatory information and collaborating effectively with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Finance principles and regulations relevant to financial services
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience in a compliance or related role within the financial sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, CCEP) are an advantage
