We efficiently serve growers' needs and strive to provide a more profitable, sustainable, and secure future for all stakeholders.  Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.   What You'll Do: Collaborate with Solution Analysts, Architects and Data Engineers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into data specifications.Assist in developing and maintaining SAP HANA models, including building new models and extending existing ones based on design standards.Support the gathering and documenting of data requirements, including tables, fields, joins, filters, calculations, and business rules.Write, test, and optimize SQL queries to support data transformations and reporting needs.Participate in troubleshooting, data validation, and performance tuning activities under senior guidance.Assist in updating or integrating cross-reference tables and master data structures within reusable HANA models.Follow established data architecture principles, coding standards, and documentation practices.Learn and apply best practices in ETL, data replication, and enterprise data warehouse development (e.g., SAP BODS, SLT, HVR).Stay current with emerging data technologies, cloud platforms, and modern engineering patterns.Contribute to continuous improvement by offering observations, asking questions, and sharing ideas. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.Up to 1–2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or related technical roles (internships and co-ops included).Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.Exposure to SAP HANA, cloud data platforms, or enterprise data warehouses (project or coursework experience acceptable).Some experience programming in languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.Familiarity with data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT workflows.Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and data systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow instructions, work in a team environment, and communicate effectively.Detail-oriented with sound documentation habits.Interest in developing skills in data modeling, data integration, and enterprise data architecture.Ready to make an impact with us?
